The crew behind
the mirror finish.

Diamond Image Detail is a mobile, Certified NanoPros operation based in Fayetteville. We do two things obsessively: correct paint properly, and protect it permanently. Then we do it in your driveway so you never lose a day to it.

How we got here

Built on one rule: it leaves better than we found it.

Diamond Image Detail was started in {{TBD: year founded}} by {{TBD: founder name}}, right here in Cumberland County. The reasoning was simple. Most drivers in this area have never actually seen what their paint can look like, because most of the market sells a wash, calls it a detail, and moves on to the next car in line.

We wanted to bring the real version of this trade to Fayetteville, and we wanted to bring it to the customer instead of asking the customer to bring it to us. That meant getting certified rather than self-taught. It meant carrying a permanent coating system instead of a seasonal sealant that quietly wears off. And it meant building a mobile setup that runs its own power, water, and color-corrected lighting, so the standard never drops just because the car is not sitting in a shop bay.

That standard has not moved since. Every vehicle gets a full chemical decontamination before anything touches the paint. Every panel gets read under inspection light, not sunlight and optimism. If a coating would lock a defect in, we remove the defect first. That is the entire job, and it is the part most people never see.

We will also tell you when you do not need us. If a two-year-old daily driver needs a decon wash and a single-stage polish, that is what we quote. Selling somebody a three-stage paint correction they do not need is how a shop gets one job instead of a customer for the next decade.

"If it is not right, it does not leave."

The standard, since day one
What we stand for

Four things we will not trade away.

These are the decisions that shape every quote we write and every panel we touch. They are also the reason our schedule stays full without a storefront.

Your driveway, not our waiting room

We are fully mobile by design. You keep your keys, your day, and your parking spot. We arrive with the water, the power, the lighting, and the products, and we work around your schedule instead of the other way around.

  • Home, office, garage, or carport
  • No drop-off, no loaner car, no waiting room
  • Same-day service on most packages

Coastal-grade protection

Carolina weather is hard on factory clear coat. Salt air accelerates oxidation, summer UV bakes the pigment flat, and hard water leaves spots that etch in over time. We chose a coating system specifically because it holds up to those conditions.

  • UV, salt, and oxidation defense
  • Hydrophobic surface that sheds spotting
  • Gloss that holds through Carolina summers

Prep is the whole job

Anyone can wipe a coating on. The value is in what happens first: iron decon, tar, road film, then machine correction with paint depth measured per panel so we never thin clear coat where it cannot afford it.

  • Full chemical decontamination every time
  • Paint depth read before correction
  • Final pass under 6500K inspection light

Straight answers, then a price

We quote what the car actually needs. If a lighter package gets you ninety percent of the result, we say so. You get told what we found, what we recommend, and what it costs before we start, and nothing gets added mid-job.

  • Findings explained before work begins
  • No upsells bolted on after the fact
  • Text updates while your car is with us

Certified NanoPros Installer
The credential that matters

Certified means accountable.

Ceramic coating is an unregulated corner of this industry. Anyone can buy a bottle online and call themselves a coating shop. Certification is the line between that and a documented, trained installation, and we hold ours through NanoPros.

Being a Certified NanoPros installer means we were trained on the system we sell, we apply it to the manufacturer's spec, and we are answerable to that spec afterward. It is why our permanent coating tier can carry a lifetime warranty and CARFAX registration at all. An uncertified install has nothing standing behind it once the installer stops answering the phone.

Trained on the system

Certification is product-specific. We were trained on the exact chemistry we install, including cure windows, panel temperature, and how to correct an install if something goes sideways.

Permanent, not a countdown

Permanent means the coating chemically bonds to your clear coat rather than sitting on top of it like a wax or sealant. You buy the protection once instead of re-buying it every couple of seasons.

Cured, then inspected

A coating that is rushed off the panel never performs the way it should. We control the environment, respect the cure time, and do a final quality check before the keys go back.

The mobile advantage

We drive to you. That is the point.

A proper coating job is measured in days, not hours. Handing your car to a shop for that long is a real cost: a ride there, a ride back, a rental, a week of rearranged mornings. Doing it in your own driveway removes all of it. You watch the work happen if you want to, and your car never leaves your address.

We run across Fayetteville and out through Hope Mills, Raeford, Spring Lake, Sanford, and Southern Pines, and we work with plenty of soldiers and families stationed at Fort Liberty whose schedules do not bend for a detail shop's hours. If you are near the edge of the map, call and ask. We usually can.

Very professional and amazing work! My car is so clean and it was so convenient to have them come to my house while I was working and detail my car! Would definitely recommend them to anyone and will certainly be using them again!

I am floored by how amazing they did. It's very clear that they take a LOT of pride in their business, and they put their all into their work. I've had my personal car detailed before by other places, and I've never been so impressed. The car looked brand new and they had very good pricing. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I super highly recommend this amazing company! When I returned to my vehicle it was as if it was brand new fresh out of the factory. They did a full ceramic job on my truck and even detailed my interior as well. Outstanding customer service and very good at what they do.
